Job Overview

A team lead is needed to manage and drive the success of our client’s digital search campaigns, ensuring they reach their full potential. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in managing digital search campaigns across various paid media marketing tactics (SEM), exceptional client relations skills, and a willingness to learn.

  • Strong SEM (SA360) and Social (META, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snap, Pinterest) platform knowledge
Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing campaigns from start to finish, including placement, testing, tracking, working through specifications, reporting, and pacing towards objectives
  • Maintaining best practices and processes for a best-in-class paid search product
  • Monitoring and enabling high performance by applying best practices, product adoption, and innovative solutions
  • Collaborating with senior management to contribute to industry-wide thought leadership and identify opportunities for growth
  • Stakeholder management, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Leading and driving a robust testing framework
  • Forecasting paid search media metrics against current performance and towards client objectives
  • Serving as an expert on the client’s business, industry, competitors, key drivers, and environment, and identifying growth opportunities
  • Maximising client retention and growth
  • Effectively managing client expectations and communicating status updates, resourcing changes, and deadlines
  • Providing expert insights on media-related matters to clients and their industry
  • Leading and managing client meetings and daily workflows, ensuring campaigns and market updates include action items
  • Managing a team of professionals and coordinating their activities
  • Responsible for building goals and day plans for team members
  • Ensuring appropriate leave planning and setting expectations internally and with the client
  • Working towards achieving zero errors/write-offs
  • Fostering open communication within the team and keeping them informed about policy and procedure changes
  • Motivating the team to exceed client expectations and produce high-quality work
  • Taking responsibility for the team's quality of work and success
  • Managing workflow and resource allocation effectively
  • Providing support and guidance to team members to help them learn best practices
  • Working closely with senior management to develop team members' careers through coaching and feedback
  • Holding career progression meetings and helping create development plans
  • Handling difficult conversations effectively, viewing them as opportunities, reading situations quickly, and resolving disputes fairly
  • Taking ownership of invoicing responsibilities and addressing issues promptly
  • Sending invoices to the correct client contact and properly filing copies of all invoices
  • Implementing accurate financial tracking processes
  • Tracking all pre-bill invoices accurately and consistently
  • Communicating and resolving financial/billing issues with clients while maintaining healthy relationships
