Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Multi-Skilled Operator in the Coastal Management Team.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Operator, you will play a key role in delivering vital infrastructure and environmental outcomes across the Port Stephens region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate plant and equipment including loaders, rollers, excavators, or trucks, ensuring all gear is checked, cleaned, and serviced daily.
  • Perform manual labor tasks associated with civil maintenance and construction when plant operation is not required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated experience operating machinery including back hoe, excavator, skid steer, and roller.
  • HR or HC license with experience in various configurations.
  • Appropriate literacy and numeracy skills to comprehend worksite documentation such as work method statements and quantity calculations.
  • Sound communications skills to create positive relationships with the community and stakeholders.
