Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Specialist to lead the modernization of legacy technology in the Asia Pacific & Japan region. The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building capabilities, a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges, and the ability to build compelling value propositions for customers.

This role is critical as modernization is a top strategic priority for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as a modernization champion within our organization
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive strategy for modern services across the APJ region, collaborating with sales teams, partners, marketing, and other specialists
  • Establishes a standard market intelligence framework to be utilized by the field, GTM, and marketing teams
  • Comfortable interacting at the CxO/VP level to influence leaders to take action
  • Partners with various teams to develop compelling proposals to accelerate modern services adoption, secure lighthouse customers, and drive top-line revenue
  • Drives field and partner readiness by developing and deploying programs that leverage field teams, technology, and consulting partner channels
  • Collaborates with product and technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plans
Required Skills and Qualifications

10+ years of proven business development, GTM, or sales experience

Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Experience managing programs or initiatives across cross-functional teams

Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets

Excellent negotiation and presentation skills

Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications

Experience in multiple APJ countries

Proven public speaking prowess

Demonstrated project management capabilities

Solution Selling experience
