Domestic Violence Sector Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Domestic Violence Sector Development Worker. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, with a salary of $89,886.00 - $93,954.00 per year.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement trauma-informed practices in the domestic violence sector
- Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to build strong partnerships
- Provide supervision and practice guidance to others, as well as deliver training and presentations
- Work with current legislation, including the Domestic and Family Violence Act 2012 and the Child Protection Act 1999
- Develop and maintain respectful relationships with clients and across the service system and community
- Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, or human services (or 5 years' experience in a similar field)
- Demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of domestic and family violence, including trauma-informed practice and crisis intervention
- Ability to work with current legislation and develop strong partnerships with community organizations
- Highly organized and able to plan, prioritize, and manage competing tasks
- Emotionally intelligent and aware, with a keen sense of critical self-reflection
- Salary packaging options up to $15,900
- 3 days Christmas leave granted in addition to 4 weeks annual leave

- Monday to Friday working pattern with occasional out-of-hours work
