Operational Excellence Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to lead the operational performance of our thermal generation assets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee production activities, coordinating with team members and contractors to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Collaborate with Wholesale & Trading to optimise plant availability and align production with commercial goals.
  • Develop and implement emergency response protocols and safety standards.
  • Promote continuous improvement and strategic planning across the organisation.
Key Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership experience in thermal power generation or large industrial operations.
  • Qualifications in engineering, science, or management—or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Sound understanding of the National Electricity Market and energy industry operations.
About this role:
  • This is a pivotal role ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our site's production assets.
  • You will lead a team of up to 80 members and coordinate with contractors to achieve business objectives.
  • This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
