Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our Civil Infrastructure team based in North Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering diverse civil and infrastructure projects in NSW, Australia, and overseas.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled engineer to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that transform communities. As a Design Engineer, you will work closely with a team of highly skilled engineers and managers to ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role involves designing and delivering projects from concept and planning through detailed design to construction and ongoing management. You will engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver diverse civil and infrastructure projects in NSW and overseas as part of the Civil Infrastructure team.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and managers to ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Assist in planning, concept design, detailed design, and construction support when required.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience within civil design, specifically project experience across public domain civil design, WSUD, and general roadworks, pavements, and stormwater drainage design.
  • Public domain grading and earthworks analysis.
  • Exposure to software such as 12D and/or Civil 3D, DRAINS, CIRCLY, TUFLOW & HEC-RAS is highly desirable.
