Overview

Robert Bird Group (RBG) is an international structural, civil and specialist engineering consultancy and a member of the Surbana Jurong Group. We deliver engineering excellence worldwide, transforming visions into successful realities with innovative, collaborative, flexible and proactive solutions.

Our Civil Engineering team provides design services from concept and planning through detailed design to construction and ongoing management for the project's operating life. We work on projects including public infrastructure, renewable energy, and private funded developments.

Responsibilities
  • Join the Civil Infrastructure team in North Sydney and contribute to the design modelling and documentation of diverse civil and infrastructure projects in NSW, Australia and overseas, working with a team of civil engineers and managers.
  • Provide vital support assisting Engineers to translate conceptual designs into detailed designs using 12D and Civil 3D software for roadways, earthworks, stormwater basins and general site grading.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience within civil design, with project experience across geometric roadway design, public domain grading, and earthworks analysis
  • Proficiency in 12D and Civil 3D software
  • Desire to work in a collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Motivation to drive your professional development with our support
  • A Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in Civil Design or similar
