**Patient Meal Coordinator Role**

The Patient Meal Coordinator plays a vital part in streamlining the process of patient meal choices from menu cycles, ensuring seamless preparation for tray line operations.

This position acts as a key team member within the Department of Food Services, delivering quality meal selection processing services to patients/residents at our healthcare facility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Distributing and collecting patient food choices from menus, promoting informed decision-making.
  • Entering menu data into computerized systems, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Liaising with Dietitians Assistants and other team members regarding patient dietary requirements, implementing recommended interventions.
  • Acting as a liaison between patients/residents and Dietitians Assistants, monitoring and encouraging optimal nutritional health and dietary compliance.

**Ideal Candidate Profile**

We seek a motivated and organized individual able to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment.

Previous administrative or data entry experience is essential, while a Food Safety Certificate is highly desirable.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also valuable assets in this role.
