Job Summary:

Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative with FLT to join our team in Normanton. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing customer stock, picking and packing orders, and loading trailers with customer goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooperate fully with the site's safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into the warehouse, checking quantities and recording receipt.
  • Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork.
  • Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner.
  • Put away customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking.
  • Perform manual handling of products and maintain stock integrity and quality checks.
  • Keep the warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy, including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear, and litter removal.

Requirements:

  • Good communication and team working skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A professional manner.
  • Experience operating within a warehouse environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • A valid FLT license (Flexi, Reach, or Counterbalance) is essential.
