With a growing footprint in the United States, they recognize the necessity for a robust Finance Manager to support their expansion.
Position Summary
As a Finance Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and collaborate within a Finance team of seven. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee financial management, reporting, and compliance for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise an Accounts Payable Officer.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and disclosures, including the reconciliation of essential general ledger accounts.
- Provide monthly and quarterly performance reports to the CFO, highlighting key metrics against budget.
- Develop and maintain accurate monthly financial reports for board review and decision-making.
- Analyze data to identify trends and variances, assisting department heads in informed decision-making.
- Support the preparation of Annual Budgets and long-term financial forecasts (3-5 years).
- Compile comprehensive annual working papers and coordinate with external tax accountants for tax filings.
- Facilitate the provision of necessary documentation to external auditors.
- Manage the preparation and submission of activity statements and follow up on payments.
- Prepare fringe benefits tax returns.
- Evaluate and enhance company reporting processes and controls.
- Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, Senior Management, and Cost Accountant to implement improved processes and controls.
- Ensure that ERP month-end processes are executed effectively in partnership with Senior Management and the Cost Accountant.
Candidate Profile
To be eligible for this Finance Manager position, candidates should possess:
- Comprehensive experience in Financial and Management accounting, including tax compliance.
- A relevant degree, with CA or CPA qualifications preferred.
- Experience in the manufacturing or distribution sectors is advantageous.
