System Performance Specialist

We're seeking an ambitious Monitoring and Data Integration Expert who's passionate about optimising system performance, improving observability, and enhancing cyber resilience. You'll collaborate with cutting-edge platforms, build sophisticated monitoring pipelines, and create insightful dashboards that make a real difference in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement advanced monitoring solutions using the Elastic Stack (ELK + Beats)
  • Develop data pipelines for logs, events, and telemetry to extract actionable insights
  • Create intuitive dashboards that turn complex data into actionable information
  • Integrate monitoring feeds across applications, networks, and cloud platforms
  • Configure alerting systems, support incident response, and improve system observability
  • Research new technologies and contribute to best-practice documentation
Qualifications
  • Experience in monitoring, logging, or data ingestion in complex environments
  • Strong Linux and virtualisation knowledge
  • Hands-on expertise with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)
  • Skills in scripting (Python, Shell) and familiarity with syslog, SNMP, and APIs
  • Experience with hybrid cloud or containerised environments
  • Great communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders
