Projectory is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to lead the development of off-grid battery storage systems.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a business strategy to enter and build up sales of battery storage products within the region.

This newly created role reports directly to the Managing Director and is pivotal to the business.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop new channels to market for battery storage product sales.
  • Establish market share within the battery storage industry.
  • Establish business relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Offer technical support to external and internal customers as the Technical Product Champion.
  • Increase presence in active markets by attending and working at key industry events and exhibitions.
  • Develop advertising, marketing strategies & campaigns with assistance from the DEUTZ Marketing team.
  • Collate competitor data to ensure DEUTZ remains competitive within target markets.
  • Maintain good working relationships with manufacturers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • SAA Design accreditation for off-grid battery systems.
  • Technical knowledge of off-grid battery systems, including electrical systems.
  • DEUTZ product knowledge/training advantageous.
  • Strategic thinker with short, medium & long-term planning mindset.
  • Technical sales experience in off-grid battery systems for mining, agriculture, and construction sectors.
  • Business acumen/commercial experience.
  • Quotation & tender preparation & costing experience.
  • Advanced level in MS Office & systems.
  • Ability to define & implement strategies to grow the business & meet targets.
  • Motivator to all stakeholders.
  • Team player with ability to work autonomously.
  • Advanced communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Problem-solving & prompt issue resolution mindset.
  • Flexible and open to change.
  • Maintain customer service focus at all times.
  • Maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivation and genuine desire to succeed.
