Network Operations Specialist Role

This is a highly challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure. As a Network Operations Specialist, you will be at the heart of real-time performance, responsible for monitoring and managing live transport network KPIs to ensure on-time and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Monitoring: You will be responsible for monitoring live transport network KPIs, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high levels of performance.
  • Real-Time Support: In the event of incidents or emergencies, you will provide immediate support to drivers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with depots to adjust operations in response to disruptions, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and escalate incidents as necessary.
  • Incident Management: You will record and manage incidents, maintaining accurate system documentation and providing critical information to relevant parties.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: You should have experience in monitoring transport networks with a strong attention to detail and proficiency in computer systems and communication tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and decision-making skills are essential, as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
