Design-Build Manager

This position offers an opportunity to lead projects, develop business, serve clients, and design drinking water, wastewater, and other infrastructure projects using the design-build method.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead planning, development, coordination, and successful completion of design-build projects.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with department managers and marketing teams to assemble pricing and develop proposals.
  • Work directly with contractors on design-build projects and make independent decisions.
  • Represent the company in client meetings to resolve questions and plan work.
  • Communicate and coordinate with peers and management team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with environmental emphasis.
  • Registered Professional Engineer license (Illinois preferred).
  • Eight or more years of experience in design and project management of water and wastewater projects.
  • Able to lead, manage, and collaborate with design-build team members.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
