Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Security Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering client projects, working with clients/prospective clients to identify their security needs, mentoring and coaching junior staff, and undertaking various tasks including security threat and risk assessments, developing security strategies, and reviewing solution design artefacts.

You will also assist in the evaluation of emerging technologies, service providers, tools, platforms, and applications that are best suited to the specific needs of an organisation, as well as delivering security architecture advice surrounding cloud services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake security threat and risk assessments
  • Develop security strategies and roadmaps
  • Develop and review solution/design artefacts
  • Assist in evaluating emerging technologies and solutions
  • Deliver security architecture advice
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
  • An analytical mindset (particularly when it comes to technology and business risk)
  • The ability to deliver multiple consulting projects at a high quality, often under pressure, while also developing strong relationships with customers
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards such as PSPF, ISM, PCI, NIST-CSF, and ISO 27001
