Cafe Service Assistant

At our care home, we strive to create a welcoming environment for residents, their families, and visitors.

This role involves providing warm and personalized cafe service, preparing and serving beverages, and offering light meals and snacks. The successful candidate will be part of a team that makes a genuine difference in residents' daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve barista coffee, tea, and other beverages with a smile.
  • Offer light meals and snacks, considering dietary needs and personal preferences.
  • Assist residents with mobility challenges to enjoy cafe services or table service.
  • Support special events, celebrations, and themed activities in the cafe.
  • Ensure the cafe area is free from hazards.

As a physical role, you will perform tasks that require bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items. It's essential to be able to perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, colleagues, and residents.
