In this role, you will take the lead on all operational aspects of delivering our Level Up project. This project aims to support young people in gaining nationally recognised skills and vocational qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to participants with diverse personal and social issues and direct barriers to employment
  • Work collaboratively with a team to develop a culture aligned with our mission and values
  • Develop training and personal development plans for participants to enhance their opportunities to complete training and access employment
  • Facilitate provision of personal development activities as determined by individual plans
  • Liaise with employers and local partners to maximise employment and training outcomes
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience or certification in Community Services, Employment Services, Youth Work, Training, or a similar sector
  • An understanding of labour market trends and the challenges faced by young people when entering or returning to the workforce
  • Resilience and empathy to work with participants experiencing complex barriers
  • Experience facilitating work skills sessions and small group activities and workshops
