About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Titan Recruitment Pty Ltd. as a Control Systems Specialist in Mine Site Operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in mine management and mining operations, responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and support of control systems for plant modifications and new equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems based on project requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth project execution and delivery.
- Conduct thorough testing, diagnose issues, and debug systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to control systems as required.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, suggesting innovative solutions to improve system performance.
- Travel to sites as needed to provide on-site support and expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Functional Safety qualifications highly regarded.
- Experience with multiple PLC programs, such as Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, etc.
- Experience with SCADA systems, such as Citect, Clear, etc., including design and implementation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Coal Mining and/or Port Facility experience.
