- Provide education and guidance to stoma patients.
- Support the patient journey from pre-operative assessment into post-operative management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Post-registration qualifications in Stoma Therapy.
- At least 3 years full time equivalent experience working in Gastrointestinal Surgery and/or Stoma Therapy.
- Ability to champion, educate and lead a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities according to best practice.
- Effective communication skills.
- Commitment to clinical practice development.
