Lead Product Developer

We are seeking a seasoned product development leader to spearhead the creation of next-generation baby and toddler products. This pivotal role involves managing the full product lifecycle, leading design and development, and ensuring exceptional quality and safety standards.

This is a unique opportunity to make a global impact while working in a flexible and creative environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in product development, specifically in hard goods or baby hard goods, as well as extensive experience in China, directly managing factory sourcing & production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research & Innovation - Identify product opportunities by analyzing industry trends and customer needs.
  • Product Design & Development - Lead end-to-end product creation with a focus on materials, durability, and functionality.
  • Manufacturing & Sourcing - Must have hands-on experience working in China with sourcing partners and factories to ensure high-quality production.
  • Compliance & Safety - Oversee product testing and ensure adherence to global safety standards (ASTM, EN71, FDA, etc.).
  • User Research - Coordinate user trials, surveys, and focus groups for product validation.
  • Packaging & Documentation - Supervise packaging design and product manuals.
  • Launch & Marketing Support - Collaborate with marketing teams to execute successful product launches.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in product development, specifically in hard goods or baby hard goods.
  • Extensive experience in China, directly managing factory sourcing & production.
  • Strong knowledge of materials such as silicone, stainless steel, and bamboo.
  • Deep understanding of safety regulations for baby products.
  • Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and marketing teams.
