Behaviour Support Practitioner

A behaviour support practitioner plays a pivotal role in providing positive behavioural support services to children and their families. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and psychologists to deliver fun, functional, and family-focused care.

  • Assist NDIS participants, along with their families and carers, to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within complex support contexts.
  • Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in home and community settings.
