Senior Landscape Architect Position

This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished academic and researcher in Landscape Architecture to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership in academic and research areas of Landscape Architecture, Architecture, and Urban Design.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Landscape Architecture or a related field and possess established teaching skills at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They will also have demonstrated effectiveness in curriculum development and a proven commitment to excellence in teaching and the use of innovative teaching methods and materials.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead academic and research efforts in Landscape Architecture
  • Maintain a high level of engagement with various community and industry partners
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A PhD in Landscape Architecture or a related area of Architectural Research
  • Established undergraduate and postgraduate level teaching skills including design studio teaching, course coordination, supervision, and mentoring
  • Effective leadership in curriculum development with a proven commitment to excellence in teaching and use of innovative teaching methods and materials
  • An international reputation for research within the discipline area including successful funding, outstanding outputs, HDR supervision to completion
  • Demonstrated design ability with distinctive and innovative design practice projects including capacity to link disciplinary knowledge of landscape architecture with natural systems and work across a range of scales and disciplines
