Landscape Architecture Professor Position

We are seeking a highly qualified academic with a strong track record of research and teaching excellence in Landscape Architecture.
The successful candidate will provide leadership in academic and research areas, making a significant contribution to all activities of the organisational unit or interdisciplinary area.
- The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Landscape Architecture or a related area of Architectural Research.
- Established undergraduate and postgraduate level teaching skills including design studio teaching, course coordination, supervision and mentoring.
- Demonstrated effectiveness and leadership in curriculum development with a proven commitment to excellence in teaching and use of innovative teaching methods and materials.
- An established international reputation for research within the discipline area including successful funding, outstanding outputs, HDR supervision to completion.
- Demonstrated design ability with distinctive and innovative design practice projects including capacity to link disciplinary knowledge of landscape architecture with natural systems and work across a range of scales and disciplines.
- Proven ability to build sustainable relationships with a range of community and industry partners and evidence of the ability to promote research links with outside organisations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A PhD in Landscape Architecture or a related area of Architectural Research.
- Established undergraduate and postgraduate level teaching skills.
- Demonstrated effectiveness and leadership in curriculum development.
- An established international reputation for research within the discipline area.
- Demonstrated design ability with distinctive and innovative design practice projects.
- Proven ability to build sustainable relationships with community and industry partners.
