Video Content Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Video Journalists/Producers to create engaging lifestyle content. This role is ideal for video professionals with a passion for storytelling.

Successful applicants will report to a video content director and be embedded in dynamic lifestyle teams, focusing on home cooking, appliance and gadget hacks, food trends, health and wellbeing, travel, and recipes. They will work closely with recipe writers, food preps, and stylists to translate content into highly engaging multi-platform videos.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for visual storytelling, be comfortable both in front and behind the camera, and have the skills to deliver high-quality video content under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities include ensuring all videos meet high journalistic standards while deeply resonating with target audiences, participating in daily standups to pitch lifestyle video stories, and shaping raw footage into captivating content.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in creating compelling video-led content with a focus on recipes, tutorials, taste tests, and explainers.
  • Ability to ideate new formats, brief shoot teams, shoot, edit, and post to site and social media platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the food video production process, including working with recipe writers, food preps, and stylists.
  • Passion for healthy living and the dynamic world of food.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
