Disability Sector Leadership Manager

As a Disability Sector Leadership Manager, you will be responsible for delivering quality outcomes for people living with developmental disability, and/or Autism.
This role is part of a small and committed leadership team that supports the CEO to achieve the strategic plan of the organisation. The successful candidate will ensure continuous and open collaboration resulting in sound operational and financial performance across existing and emerging services.
You understand the concept of servant leadership and will demonstrate commitment to it. Exemplary customer service, together with the sustainability of the business, is a key focus of your role. Specifically, you will contribute to the growth of NDIS revenue streams while implementing operational efficiencies.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Operational Excellence in NDIS and Dept Child Protection Service Delivery
- NDIS Quality & Safeguarding compliance and restrictive practice reporting framework
- Financial Performance
- People & Culture
- Environment, Health & Safety
- Clinical Governance
The ideal candidate has:
- Excellent customer service and proactive relationship management skills.
- Experience in financial/budget program management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Positive, energetic, and savvy manner.
- Proven ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Previous experience in a similar role in the community services sector.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- High level of initiative and work well in a team environment.
- Stays well-informed of industry news, trends, and changes.
A clinical background in disability services will be highly regarded.
