Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Casual Eatly Childhood Educator to join our team at Goodstart Port Macquarie. As a key member of our centre team, you will play a vital role in contributing to the education program and creating engaging experiences for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the development and implementation of the education program in the room and the centre team;
- Engage and supervise children at all times, ensuring their physical and emotional safety;
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, families, and team members;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children and families through effective communication and active listening;
- Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures;
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An ACECQA-approved early childhood qualification;
- A valid Working With Children check;
- Flexibility and availability to work casual shifts between Monday and Friday, 6:30am-6:30pm;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
