Laboratory Scientist Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scientist to join our team in Mount Isa. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, performing scientific analyses in various disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing complex scientific tests and analyses to verify and validate test results.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clinical units as required.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve quality patient care.
- Developing and implementing new scientific practices, procedures, and protocols to enhance the delivery of pathology services.
Requirements:
- A tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in diagnostic testing and clinical interpretation of results within a multi-disciplinary laboratory setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing a range of diagnostic skills relevant to the discipline.
