Pump Service Fitter Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Pump Service Fitter. As a Pump Service Fitter, you will be responsible for performing daily service activities, including internal/external repairs and warranty assessments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily service activities, including internal/external repairs and warranty assessments.
  • Conduct assessments of pumps and equipment.
  • E nsure completed jobs meet acceptable standards before being dispatched.
  • Operate service equipment, including forklift vehicles, cranes, and specialist equipment, in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Liaise with other staff members to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workshop and vehicles.
  • Support company policies, procedures, and work practices to achieve overall objectives.
  • Lead by example, meeting company and customer expectations for quality, timeline, reporting, and communication.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification in Fitting (electrical or mechanical).
  • Disconnect/reconnect restricted electrical preferred.
  • Confined space certification.
  • Car license.
  • Forklift license.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in rotating equipment repair, including pumps.
  • Experience in pump repairs, including progressive cavity.
