Cloud Infrastructure Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Lead to spearhead the design and rollout of our new cloud infrastructure.

  • Architect and build a secure, scalable, and high-availability AWS environment to support our SaaS platform.
  • Lead the end-to-end migration from our current third-party hosting provider to AWS.
  • Develop processes, tooling, and automation for migrating customer environments and data into our new AWS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provision, monitor, and manage cloud environments using expertise in AWS, Terraform, and Datadog.
  2. Collaborate with development team to containerize and optimize PHP/MySQL applications for AWS deployment.
  3. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and automated deployments.
  4. Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high performance and availability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles with a focus on AWS.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing cloud migrations, especially from third-party hosting providers to AWS.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Strong experience with PHP applications and MySQL in cloud environments.
