Job Overview
  • We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the transition from our existing hosting setup to a more scalable and flexible AWS environment.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve secure, scalable, and high-availability AWS infrastructure for our SaaS platform by architecting and building it.
  2. Lead the end-to-end migration from current third-party hosting provider to AWS.
  3. Develop processes, tooling, and automation for migrating customer environments and data into new AWS infrastructure.
  4. Apply expertise in AWS, Terraform, and Datadog to provision, monitor, and manage cloud environments.
  5. Collaborate with development team to containerize and optimize PHP/MySQL applications for AWS deployment.
  6. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and automated deployments. Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for high performance and availability.
  7. Define security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance procedures across AWS environment.
  8. Support post-migration operations and continuous infrastructure improvement.
  9. Implement robust database backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  10. Coordinate with current hosting providers and third-party vendors for smooth and secure transition to AWS.
  11. Act as technical liaison during handover process, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in AWS architecture, migration, and management.
  • Strong understanding of Terraform and Datadog.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
