Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Engineering Services capture team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives on challenge, collaboration and delivering results.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executing major captures in a competitive terrain, preferably with formal training in recognised best practice. They will be able to develop and implement effective win strategies, build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and drive successful delivery through strong leadership of teams.

This role requires a deep understanding of the Defence and Aerospace markets, as well as experience working in secure government environments. The successful candidate will have a solid network of contacts within these sectors and be able to provide thought leadership to customers and partners.

As a key member of our team, the Capture Lead - Engineering Services will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing capture strategies that maximise competitive advantage and align with customer mission outcomes
  • Building and maintaining relationships at a senior management level with customers and stakeholders
  • Leading end-to-end capture of major strategic opportunities from initial identification through to proposal submission and contract award
  • Conducting thorough competitive assessments and developing counter-strategies to position the company for success
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate will require:

  • A proven track record in hands-on execution of major captures in a competitive terrain
  • Formal training in recognised best practice in capture management
  • Solid experience working in Defence and Secure Government environments
  • An established network of contacts within the Defence and Aerospace markets
  • Strong collaboration ethos with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead teams of senior professionals
