Opportunity to leverage your natural leadership ability to inspire and deliver a portfolio of Automated Baggage Handling System projects, exceeding A$100m Long-term opportunity to develop into more APAC-wide leadership positions, such as Project Director Enjoy a culture of collaboration, trust and an engineering excellence team of technical experts Competitive base salary + super + company discretionary bonus + VISA & relocation (if relevant)The Role Reporting into the Project Leadership, you will; Manage, oversee and coordinate the Projects team, and work closely with other internal and external key stakeholders.
Maintain a high level of compliance to the PMP process across the region and be heavily involved in the project reviews, project kickoffs, bid sign offs and sales handover.
Ensure the team operate in a safe manner and adhere to the Values of the business.
You will have the full responsibility of the following KPI's: Safety performance – lead and lag indicators focused hazard identification and risk assessment and incident severity as well as proactive initiatives Human Resources - Retention of staff, employee satisfaction through the GPTW initiative and internal promotion Financial – P&L to budget, debtors and cashflow Project performance; projects on or better than budget, minimising the projects with reduction in margin Skills And Experience Required You are a natural leader who understands the ethos that people buy from people.
It is essential you bring: Complex Industrial Automation project delivery (A$20m+) of Electro-Mechanical nature, ideally in Baggage Handling Systems, or similar Leadership of people with a technical profilebility to develop relationships from scratch, with exceptional key stakeholder management Ability to lead operational and maintenance personnel to achieve the objectives of their tasks Sound working knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes including the ability to estimate cost to complete and forecast cost at completion Sound working knowledge of contractual and commercial issues such as variations Sound working knowledge of project scheduling and planning Proven experience in negotiation and conflict management PMP Certification Engineering related tertiary or diploma education To apply for this exciting opportunity, please submit your executive summary and resume by clicking the relevant link.
