Lab Operations Manager

This role is responsible for the daily operations and member success at a life science lab. The Lab Operations Manager will ensure an exceptional experience for members while maintaining world-class lab compliance and efficiency.

  • Manage daily lab operations, ensuring all systems run smoothly and safely.
  • Lead tours, respond to enquiries, and convert leads into members.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective members and partners.
  • Supervise laboratory technicians, allocate tasks, and support staff development.
  • Manage lab-related purchasing and vendor payments.
  • Foster a collaborative member community through events and campaigns.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a science-related discipline or facilities management.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in laboratory operations, facilities management, or similar roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory safety standards, asset management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
