Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Signal Mechanic to join our team on a permanent basis, working in Dubbo NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing safety of the rail network's signalling systems.
  • As a Signal Mechanic, you will conduct regular maintenance inspections and repairs as per our Technical Maintenance Plan, identifying and repairing signal mechanical faults and attending failures to diagnose and correct signalling faults.

Responsibilities:

  2. Conduct maintenance inspections and repairs as per our Technical Maintenance Plan.
  3. Identify and repair signal mechanical faults and attend failures to diagnose and correct signalling faults.
  4. Support other business groups to deliver their works.

Requirements:

">
  • Signal Electrician Assessed & hold a Cert IV Electrical (Rail Signalling)
  • Previous Signalling experience
  • Competent in fault rectification, testing, commissioning & decommissioning of Signalling Systems
  • Strong ability to interpret/read technical drawings
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Time Management skills
  • White card
  • Class C Driver's licence essential (HR preferred)
  • Hold a current RIW card (preferable)
  • Rail maintenance background and technical understanding
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills
