Signal Systems Specialist OpportunityAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Signal Systems Specialist to join our team and contribute to the maintenance of our rail network's signalling systems. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance inspections, identifying and repairing signal defects, and diagnosing and correcting faults.

The ideal candidate will have a Cert IV Electrical (Rail Signalling) qualification and previous experience in signal systems maintenance. They will also possess excellent communication and time management skills, as well as a strong understanding of technical drawing interpretation and fault rectification techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections of signal systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Repair and replace faulty signal equipment to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Diagnose and correct faults in signal systems to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Cert IV Electrical (Rail Signalling) qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in signal systems maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • A strong understanding of technical drawing interpretation and fault rectification techniques.
  • A white card and Class C Driver's licence.
