Central Roofing Supplies is a well-established Tasmanian roofing and home improvements manufacturer. We offer a range of products including roofing, rainwater products, patio systems, and innovative fascia designs made in Hobart.

The role is for a General Hand to provide general factory assistance, operate machinery, deliver exceptional customer service, liaison with manufacturing and dispatch teams, and perform housekeeping duties.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing general factory assistance
  • Operating machinery such as folder, bender, roll former, and coil slitter
  • Delivering outstanding customer service
  • Liasion with manufacturing and dispatch teams
  • Performing general housekeeping duties

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A commitment to producing quality products
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to learn or experience in the operation of roll forming, sheet metal machinery, and hand tools
  • Desirable: Picking and packing or other warehouse/logistics experience
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Forklift license and MR truck license preferable
  • Basic computer skills
