Senior Accounts Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Lead to join our team and drive success in financial operations.

This leadership role offers the chance to oversee key finance processes, support staff development, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Oversight of daily invoice processing and payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Mentoring and supporting AP & AR Officers to enhance their skills and capabilities, driving team performance and resilience.
  • Accurate processing and certification of subcontractor claims in Jobpac, maintaining high levels of compliance and quality.
  • Monitoring overdue debtors and contributing to effective credit control processes, minimizing financial risk.
  • Fostering strong relationships with project administrators, managers, and suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Driving process improvements and contributing to system enhancements, maximizing efficiency and productivity.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable within a complex environment. They should have a background in construction, knowledge of subcontractor claims, retentions, and contractual requirements. Previous experience supervising or mentoring finance officers is desirable.

A proactive, solutions-focused individual with a mindset of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be able to influence stakeholders, possess strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
