About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Power Systems Worker to join our team. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and restoring our electricity distribution network.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs of station equipment such as transformers, switchgear, etc.

You will also be required to conduct electrical tests, interpret results, and write reports on substation equipment, as well as undertake general metal fabrication and earth grid bonding using oxy/LPG cutting, brazing, and welding processes.


To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electricity distribution network assets, a detailed practical knowledge of metering and communications installation, testing, and maintenance techniques, and a proven ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
