About the Role

As a Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in empowering participants to navigate the NDIS and make informed decisions about their lives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating a range of services to support participants in achieving their goals and aspirations
  • Working closely with participants to understand their individual needs and develop personalized support plans
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community service providers, and families, to ensure seamless support delivery
  • Providing education and support to participants to help them make informed decisions about their NDIS plans

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the NDIS and its principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to best practice and continuous improvement
  • Experience working in a team environment and with diverse client groups

Role Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Mental Health (desirable)
  • A current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland driver's licence
  • A currently registered, roadworthy, and fully comprehensive insured vehicle
  • First Aid and CPR certificates (ability to obtain)
  • A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
