We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Systems Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.

This role is crucial in providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring seamless communication between staff, clients, and vendors.

About The Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and supporting our IT systems, ensuring our team can work efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance: Responding to inquiries and resolving software and hardware issues for staff and clients.
  • Maintaining computer infrastructure: Installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Network maintenance: Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of computer networks, ensuring connectivity and security.
  • Vendor coordination: Liaising with external vendors for technical support, equipment procurement, and contract management.
  • User training: Providing guidance and training to staff on the use of hardware, software, and IT systems.
  • System documentation: Maintaining accurate records of system configurations, issues, and resolutions.
  • Compliance: Ensuring IT systems comply with industry standards and security protocols.
  • Call center support: Providing technical support via phone or remote assistance, ensuring timely resolution of client issues.
  • Administrative tasks: Assisting with office management duties such as maintaining records, managing inventory, and coordinating office supplies.
  • Budget oversight: Assisting with tracking office expenses, managing budgets, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of IT resources.
  • Reporting: Preparing and submitting internal and external reports related to IT systems, office operations, and compliance.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in ICT support or a related field, with a strong understanding of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and experience with network implementation and maintenance.
  • Certifications: Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
  • Problem-solving skills: A knack for troubleshooting and finding solutions to technical problems.
  • Communication skills: The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and effectively.
  • Organizational skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Education: A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
