Job Description:

Thiess is seeking a skilled and experienced Tyre Fitter to join our team at the Curragh North coal mining project. The successful candidate will be responsible for removing and fitting rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment, as well as performing regular tyre inflation pressure checks and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in tyre fitting and maintenance
  • Knowledge of heavy earthmoving mining equipment and associated safety procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
