We are seeking a skilled and experienced Earthmover Tyre Fitting professional to join our team as a Tyre Technician.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive tyre changes on a range of mobile mining equipment, performing routine inspections and assessing wheel components, maintaining pressures and quality in accordance with site specifications, and upholding our commitment to providing an excellent level of service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake planned and reactive tyre changes on a range of mobile mining equipment
- Perform routine inspections and assess wheel components to remain in service
- Maintain pressures and quality in accordance with site specifications
- Uphold our commitment to providing an excellent level of service to clients
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of Earthmover Tyre Fitting experience on mine sites
- A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21916/AUR21920 preferred
- A valid C Class driving licence; HR/LR advantageous
- QLD Standard 11 Mining Induction
- A high level of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
- An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
- Ability to work autonomously
