About the Role

We are seeking a skilled tyre technician for a permanent employment opportunity at our coal mining project. As part of our team, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

  • Removal and fitting of rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving equipment as required.
  • Removal and refitting of tyres and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving equipment as required.
  • Regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjustments, and reporting to supervisor.
  • Sourcing technical information from available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems.
  • Initiation of actions to prevent equipment non-conformance, identification and recording of quality problems, and provision of solutions through designated channels.
  • Adherence to site procedures.
