About the Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Crafts person within NHS Grampian, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of plant and equipment.

We are looking for applicants who have completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and preferably be multi-skilled. They should have gained some experience as a maintenance engineer working on a variety of plant including HVAC, production or process equipment, motors, fans, control panels, and catering equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment
  • Responding to breakdowns and implementing repairs in a timely manner
  • Collaborating with other teams to achieve common goals

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role
  • A recognised engineering apprenticeship is required
