Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

This role is for a Mechanical Maintenance Crafts person to carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on various plant and equipment in the NHS Grampian environment.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £31,892 and £39,735 per annum, inclusive of a recruitment and retention payment.

A Mechanical Maintenance Crafts person will be required to perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of machinery and equipment. This includes but is not limited to HVAC, production or process equipment, motors, fans, control panels, catering equipment and other plant items. The ideal candidate should have experience working as a maintenance engineer and must have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship. In addition, applicants are expected to possess multi-skilled capabilities and demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and professional development. They should also show enthusiasm for teamwork and collaboration within the wider healthcare care team.

• The successful applicant must hold a valid UK driving licence
• Applicants are expected to have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship
