**About the Role**:
We are looking for an experienced leader that will manage day to day activities of the Asset Inspection Planning and Scheduling team and develop the team skills and capabilities to ensure high quality support is provided for delivery teams to be able to conduct effective and efficient asset maintenance.
This role is also responsible for the strategic planning, scheduling and reporting services for the delivery of our Lines Asset Inspection programs.
**What you’ll deliver**:
- Develop the overall capabilities of the team to enable the Asset Inspection team to effectively deliver the asset inspection program as required
- Balance the Asset Inspection program to ensure efficient and acceptable workloads for the Asset Inspection team and field delivery
- Manage the performance of the team, build morale, engagement and generate commitment to the company strategy and values by developing a positive and commercially aware team culture
- Plan and schedule Asset Inspection activities to optimise efficiency with safety at front of mind
- Ensure inspection programs are established and carried out to comply with policies including risk and data exceptions management
- Effectively manage external service contractors to ensure services are cost effective and meet quality and other contractual expectations
**To succeed in this role you’ll have**:
- Tertiary certificate or similar
- Experience in asset management and asset data in the Electrical Industry
- Previous experience in managing and leading work groups through periods of change
- The position needs a detailed knowledge of the electricity distribution networks including design, construction, operation of Lines assets, along with Maintenance policies and procedures
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and project management principles
- Working knowledge of SAP, GIS and CLICK FSE advantageous
