The OpportunityAs our Director, you'll work directly with clients to shape and enhance business strategies, helping them solve tomorrow's problems today. This is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, Australia, offering flexible work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage client relationships, generating revenue and managing complex commercial relationships.
- Lead and develop teams to bring the firm's Employee Value Proposition to life, achieving performance objectives and broad visibility.
- Develop and implement strategies, operating models, processes, and compliance frameworks to manage indirect taxes through the tax lifecycle, increasing operational efficiency in meeting regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for tax optimization, credits, and refund recovery, and exposure reduction.
- Substantial Indirect Tax experience within a professional services accounting firm, law firm, or large organization.
- Strong technical skills in indirect tax, particularly in Stamp Duty.
- Leadership skills in market-facing initiatives, client delivery, and staff development.
