Job Role Summary

The ideal candidate will lead and coordinate our food and beverage team to provide premium service to guests. This involves greeting and welcoming guests, taking orders, preparing meals and beverages, and presenting dishes in accordance with health and presentation standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • To manage the food and beverage team ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Welcome and greet guests promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and present food and beverages according to established health and safety guidelines.
  • Determine when alcohol service should cease based on guest behavior.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, walls, windows, mirrors, and floors.
  • Perform opening or closing duties as required by the department/outlet.
  • Familiarize yourself with hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Solve guest problems/complaints and utilize established service recovery guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Possess RSA serving skills and physical fitness to work on feet most of the day.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull heavy objects up to 23 kg.
  • Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol.
  • Fluency in local language and articulate communication skills.
  • Literacy and basic math skills.
  • Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Experience in bartending and preparation of drinks.
