Teach Music to Primary School Students

Deliver a comprehensive music program in a primary school setting, promoting academic excellence and individual potential. The ideal candidate will possess training in the Orff and Kodaly approaches to music education, as well as experience with piano playing, choral leadership, and young children's vocal development.

A dedicated and passionate music educator, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs. Your expertise in curriculum knowledge and learning strategies from Pre-school to Year 6 will enable you to make a meaningful impact on students' musical growth.

To succeed in this role, you must have ACT teacher registration or be willing to apply. You will also need to demonstrate early years qualifications or a commitment to attaining them within the first two years of employment.

  • Dedicated and passionate about teaching music
  • ACT teacher's registration through the ACT TQI or willingness to apply
  • Curriculum knowledge and learning and teaching strategies from Pre-school to Year 6

The successful applicant will be required to hold a relevant tertiary degree and teaching qualification, possess excellent written English and effective interpersonal communication skills, and demonstrate excellent technological literacy across a range of applications.
