Primary School Music Educator

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering the music program, fostering excellence and contributing to the holistic development of our students.

  • Deliver the music curriculum in partnership with the Head of Primary Arts and Languages;
  • Contribute to pastoral care and co-curricular programs;
  • Apply inquiry-based learning approaches and Orff and Kodaly music education philosophies;
  • Support piano playing, choral experience and vocal technique for young children;

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging music lessons to primary school students;
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement music curricula;
  • Assist with extracurricular music programs and events;
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance;

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary degree and teaching qualification;
  • Excellent written English and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Effective technological literacy across various applications;
  • A valid Working with Vulnerable People Card or willingness to apply;
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate;
